The Legal Timeline
Of Ultraman

Everything you need to know about Japan's biggest icon - Ultraman.

Created by Mr. Eiji Tsuburaya, Ultraman was first broadcasted on Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) in 1966. Though short-lived, Mr. Eiji Tsuburaya passed away 4 years later on January 25th 1970. Since then, the Ultraman brand had been through a series of successors which resulted in a series of financial and legal battles for the past four decades. In the interest of transparency, Ultraman Original has created a timeline depicting the legal chain of events along with each of its supporting document.

All documents are publicly available in their respective judicial system.
